These pictures were provided by Fred Jelinek. He went over with the Brigade from Ft Carson and stayed in 1/61 for eighteen months. Fred served as 4.2 Mortar Platoon Leader, Recon Platoon Leader and after promotion to CAPT he was the S3 Air. He also took a lot of good pictures, others of which are found throughout this web site.
