The Collinsville, Ill. Native moved to Live Oak from Miami in 1980, was an archeologist for Archisan, Inc. and Suwannee River Research Laboratory & Museum, Inc. in Live Oak.

Patrick Aaron Maddalino, 49, of Live Oak, died Thursday, July 20, 2000 at his
home.
He was a US Army veteran who fought in the Vietnam conflict where he received 3 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.
Mr.Maddalino was a life member of the following organizations: Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign War and the Fifth Division Society of the US Army and was of Druid faith.
Survivors include his wife; Candy Maddalino, Live Oak; one brother: Daniel Maddalino, Boyton Beach; mother-in-law Betty Nell Strother, Live Oak; three aunts: June Krivec, Niceville, Pearl McCollum, Miami, and Ruth McCollum, Gainsville; uncle and aunt: Charles and June Harvey,
Jacksonville; eighteen cats, four dogs, many friends in Live Oak, and extended family, Vietnam Veterans, their wives and families.
