They called themselves "BUSHWACKERS", the Army called them DELTA Company of the 1st BN 11th INF. Their mascot was a lizard. Go figure.
The name of the lizard keeper is withheld to protect the innocent. Only his mother and about 150 D/1/11 troopers know.
