This is a picture of Herman White and his wife, Aggie Warren White. During WWI he served as a Private in Co. F, 61st Infantry, 5th Division. Private White joined the Army when he was 17 years old, in 1917. He lost a lung to mustard gas in the Ardan Forest and for this injury drew a military pension after he left the service.
