And along with MS Clark we also got to see Gary Merrill. He had time to crack a brew before his rapid departure. Bet he took it with him. Actually he was a name in the movie world. Married Bette Davis. And had major roles in the following movies before he went on to TV work.

And didn't we all feel better after these two spend 30 minutes at C2? Of course the helo they were using could have been doing re-supply and of course these two VIPs were sleeping in beds at Camp Eagle or Saigon and eating top of the line chow. And of course they flew to Nam at taxpayer expense and I doubt they sat in the coach class. And what they got paid most likely equaled the month's pay of a rifleman but seeing "They cared" made me want to rush right back to the bush. Sure it did.
