A panoramic view from LZ Angel. Not much of a base, once described by a man who was there as follows "LZ Angel is two small connected hilltops of fine clay dust with 3 rolls of barbed wire around it and some holes bulldozed for tracks to sit in. Add a few half-built bunkers with poncho-covered tops and you have LZ Angel in a nutshell. LZ means Landing Zone, but choppers have to land outside the wire to avoid the intense dust!"
